Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Bickleigh: Blaxton Creek. Looking north west. At the far end of the creek, virtually on the banks of the Tavy, by Blaxton Quay, was a tide mill which was blown down in about 1828, rebuilt and immediately destroyed by fire in 1837. It must have been rebuilt again as there was a miller listed here in 1857. Access to Blaxton Quay is prohibited – it is now a private road
