BLUEBIRD AT BOX MADE BY \\\SLOTE BIRD CLUB. dent, E. H. Parry, who has done so much for our birds and for our Bird Club,expects any day to go to camp at his countrys call; our former President,Ernest Corts, is already in camp, and we will unquestionably miss their ableassistance. Over IOC Wren and Bluebird houses have been made and erected in theneighborhood. On a Junior walk in early spring we put up some of thesehouses in an old orchard and within fifteen minutes saw Bluebirds enterone of them. Adult and Junior walks were conducted frequently in the springs usuallygoing by autos to some woods over a mile from Wyncote. These trips are very 122 Bird - Lore popular, and sometimes our trusty Fords are iilled to overflowing. We hadour usual picnic in June, with a bird-walk first and then lunch in the woods.In July, 47 members went in two big automobile trucks to visit the PhiladelphiaAcademy of Natural Sciences, lo miles away.

Some have tried eating them and endorse thisas a good way to aid food-conservation. Several feeding-stations were kept constantly supphed with food last winter,and the State Game Commission helped us in this by donating $10 to the cause. We have had some good lectures this year, one by Samuel Scoville, Jr.,Staff NaturaHst of the Boy Scouts of Philadelphia and Counties; Rev. HerbertWestwood, of Mt.
