English: Birthday treat. In the autumn of 2003 through to spring 2004 the aqueduct at Pont Cysyllte had a major overhaul. The metal was cleaned and repainted, the joints sealed and the stone work repaired. Also the trees either side were trimmed back. All this anticipating the 200th Birthday Party in November 2005. |
