English: Blaydes House. Blaydes House, High Street. Built c1760 for Benjamin Blaydes, merchant and shipbuilder and attributed to Joseph Page. Note the small window between the two chimney stacks. This is a belvedere or lookout for watching the movement of ships on the Humber.
