Summary
[edit]DescriptionBosniak 2F renal cyst.jpg |
English: Contrast-enhanced CT of the abdomen of a 75 year old woman presenting with abdominal pain. As an incidental finding, it showed a 3 cm wide renal cyst with calcifications in its wall, seen as very radiodense (white in this presentation) areas in its margins. There is also a septation which is calcified. Yet, the cyst does not show enhancement (uptake of contrast), making it overall a 2F cyst by the Bosniak classification. Image at lower right shows the anteroposterior level of this coronal CT slice (white line). |
