| Description |
English: Bostal Road Minor road linking Sompting to Steyning which until the Second World War was surfaced only as far as Beggars Bush to the south. The need to get equipment to the training areas on the Downs meant the rest to Stening was surfaced too. Taken from the junction with Sopers Lane which is also the Monarchs Way which briefly joins forces with the South Downs Way, running parallel to the road on the right, before diverging on the western side of Steyning Round Hill. |
