Summary[edit]

Description
English: Boyton Down near Sherrington This view looking south-west is of Boyton Down, which is chalk downland, with a wheatfield in the foreground. There is a tumulus and a long barrow on the top of the down which is 164m high. Behind the camera is the village of Sherrington, through which the river Wylye flows, so the photographer is in a valley.
