| Description |
English: A 'Castle' on an Up stopping train at Brent. View westwrda, towards Plymouth; ex-GWR Exeter etc. - Plymouth - Penzance main line and junction for Kingsbridge. No. 4081 'Warwick Castle' is working - as far as Newton Abbot - an 08.45 Saltash - Goodrington Sands summer local. (See SX8566 : Newton Abbot - Plymouth stopping train on Dainton Bank for my view of it on Dainton Bank, returning later). Brent station was closed on 5/10/64, one year after the Kingsbridge Branch closed on 16/9/63. |
