| Description |
English: Bridge 301 over Spring Beck. Bridge 301 over a spring beck, it was built by the Eastern and Midlands railway (predecessor of the M&GN) in 1885 and widened in 1901 (building of the station by the M&GN). The beck originates just up the hill1369482 and flows to sea via Weybourne. Spring Hotel was situated up the hill to make the most of the waters here. Weybourne station was built in a grand style for the wealthy guests. However as times changed the hotel suffered and was demolished in WW2. Please Note this photo was taken on railway property, I was in possession of a line side pass issued by the railway. Going on the line side without one is trespassing. |
