Description
English: The first Sea Harrier for the Royal Navy seen here being operated by the resident trials unit 700A Naval Air Squadron. This aircraft claimed three "kills" in the Falklands War: a Pucacra, C-130 and Canberra, while flying with 801 NAS off HMS Invincible. This aircraft crashed near Sardinia on 1.12.89. The pilot ejected safely. In the background is the west tower of St Bartholemew's parish church.
