English: Bronze Age Structure on Carnethy Hill. No-one knows for sure who or why these windbreaks were built, but it is widely accepted that Bronze Age settlers from a Hillfort at the base of Carnethy Hill built these to shelter themselves from the elements as they kept watch over the Lothians. |
