Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Brow Lane, Shelf. On the right is a pair of three-storey houses, but not the weaver's cottages found further up Calderdale. On the left is a retaining wall above the steep drop into the valley of Wood Fall. The wall was no doubt built when Brow Lane was widened, which must have been an expensive operation.
