Homoeopathic, 1886, diedin Middletown. May 11, of cerebral hemorrhage, aged 49. Hewas Prof, of Medicine and Secretary of the college at which hegraduated. Dr. James Gillespie Hunt, Jefferson, 1871, died at his homein Utica, May 17, aged 68. He was surgeon to the FaxtonHospital. AbstractsABSTRACTS. 795 Pellagra. Dr. J. T. Windell, of Louisville, Louisville Month-ly Journal of Medicine and Surgery, May, 1914, reports thecase of a female, aged 38, a tobacco stemmer. The lesionshealed under Fowlers solution, but returned. The conditionhad lasted 13 years. There was a gain of 25 pounds, dis-appearance of gastro-enteric symptoms, marked nervous symp-toms had not occurred. Some doubt was expressed as towhether the case was not eczema.
