Nous engageons vivement les membres de la Société de Géologie qui ne connaissent pas cette belle résurgence à aller la visiter, parce qu'elle constitue, pensons- nous, le plus remarquable et en même temps le plus pittoresque phénomène de ce genre qui existe en Belgique. Nous croyons également qu'elle peut aussi être considérée comme la fausse source la plus abon- dante de notre pays.

Nota. â Les trajets indiqués en pointillé pour la Wamme et pour la Lomme ne sont pas les trajets souterrains, qui sont inconnus, mais les trajets partiels aériens et à débits restreints. Le débit de ces deux rivières étant sensiblement le même à On et à Jemelle, à l'époque où le prélèvement des eaux a été fait pour être soumis à l'analyse, nous avons rempli la moitié d'un flacon à la perte d'On et la deuxième moitié a été remplie par les eaux de la première perte de la Lomme à Jemelle. De cette façon, nous avons pu prendre une moyenne approximative de la composition chimique de ces deux rivières. Un deuxième flacon a été puisé dans l'abondante source d'Ãprave.
