| Description |
English: Bund across the marshes This bank extends from Dingle Great Hill to East Hill so separates the inland area of reeds from the coastal side to the right and therefore probably ensures there are not intrusions of saline water, which can kill off fish and other life in fresh reedbeds. Walberswick is part of the larger Suffolk Coast National Nature Reserve and is managed by Natural England (though the rebranding from English Nature hasn't reached this sign). |
