For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Zimontkowski Bö-Ri. 6.7.1957 Beitrag der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik zum Internationalen Geophysikalischen Jahr 1957-1958 Das Internationale Geophysikalische Jahr, das am 1. Juli 1957 begann und am 31.12.1958 endet, stellt den Wissenschaftlern der ganzen Welt wichtige Aufgaben. der hohe Stand der Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen der Wissenschaftler der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik und der von ihnen entwickelten Instrumente ermöglicht Ihnen, umfangreiche und wertvolle Beiträge zu liefern.
