For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Um den durchreisenden Soldaten die Absendung ihrer Feldpost zu erleichtern, hat der Wehrmachtsbetreuungsdienst eines Wehrkreises [W.K. III] auf den Bahnsteigen eines Bahnhofes [in Cottbus] eine fahrbare Feldpostannahme in Dienst gestellt. Auf einem doppelseitigen Schreibpult können die Soldaten Grüsse an ihre Angehörigen richten.
