Euler wohnte nicht in diesem Haus, sondern in einem, das früher auf demselben Grundstück stand. Das abgebildete Gebäude wurde erst 1911-1912 für den A. Schaffhausen'schen Bankverein errichtet. Es ist heute Sitz der bayerischen Landesvertretung in Berlin.

Gedenkstätten berühmter Männer in Berlin. In diesem Haus in der Behrenstrasse 21 lebte der bekannte Mathematiker Leonhard Euler. Die Inschrift der Tafel lautet: "Hier wohnte von 1743 bis 1766 der Mathematiker Leonhard Euler, geb. 15.IV.1707, gest. 18.IX.1783. Seinem Andenken die Stadt Berlin 1907"
