Summary[edit]

Description Super Crazy Prices were a discount version of Irish Supermarket chain Quinnsworth and had a number of supermakets around the country. In 1987 the company opened up its largest in Finglas in the Janelle Shopping Centre which was a converted textile factory, at that time there were few large supermarkets in its catchment area and two Bus Eireann KR class buses were employed 6 days a week to operate a service to Cabra and Blanchardstown via Finglas West, the service lasted until the late 1990s when Blanchardstown centre opened up and car usage also grew and Tesco bought both Quinnswort and Crazy prices in 1997 and the rest as they say is history! KR143 was used for a similar store in Wexford Town.
