Description
Deutsch: Da die Slowenische Hauptstadt Ljubljana (Laibach) über kein Straßenbahnnetz verfügt, war es nötig ein effektives Busnetz zu entwickeln.

Die Bus-Ära beginnt 1951 mit der Eröffnung 4 Trolleybus Linien, die die Straßenbahn ersetzten. Bis zum Ende 60er Jahre wurden alle 4 Linien eingestellt und durch Busse ersetzt. Das Netz wuchs ständig und war im Gleichgewicht zu der Entwicklung der Stadt.

Heute zählt Ljubljana 32 Linien die Ljubljana und ihre Metropolregion gut miteinander verbinden. Die Flotte besteht aus 213 Bussen, die zu 90% niederflurig, klimatisiert und mit Videoüberwachung ausgestattet sind. Am häufigsten sind Mercedes Benz und MAN Busse anzutreffen, während Iveco und Isuzu Minibusse sehr stark in der Unterzahl liegen.
