Summary

Description
English: By the Grantham Canal. The Grantham Canal is a haven for wildlife. The blackberry bushes along the tow path were alive with insects of all sorts. Here is a Comma, Polygonia c-album, a unique butterfly with scalloped shaped wings of beautiful rich browns and oranges on the upperside and intricate patterning on the underwing. See 625643 and 625624. All these photographs were taken within a few yards of each other.
