ng lovely Corey Hill. Running through a succession of pleasant groves ofpine, with comfortable houses set back among pleasantlawns on either side, the car comes to the village of New-ton Upper Falls, where connections may be made for allparts of the Newtons, Highlandville and Needham. Fromthe top of the hill at Newton Upper Falls there is a wideview over the valley of the Charles River, or as the Indiancalled it, the Quinnobequin. At the foot of this hill is a bridge across the CharlesRiver, and looking to the left one may see the famousHemlock Gorge Reservation, a great pleasure groundwhere thousands go every week in summer to find recrea-tion. The picturesque charm of the river, the groves offragrant pine and hemlock, and the glimpses of wild natureon either hand make this one of the most delightful spotsto be found on the journey. Echo Bridge, the aqueductwhich carries Bostons water supply across the Gorge, hasbecome famous for its repeating echo. Wlacbester Heaters heat homes best
