Description
English: General Hayden and General Maples testified at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on operations in Iraq and future military commitment to the region. They spoke about the security situation in Iraq and Afghanistan, threats to stability posed by both insurgent movements and regional powers like Iran and Syria, as well as intelligence analysis of the internal politics of the Arab world. They also spoke briefly about the threat posed to regional stability by Iranian nuclear development programs.
