فارسی: کتاب «شرح زندگانی من بقلم ابوالقاسم لاهوتی» یک شرح‌حال جعلی است که توسط سازمان اطلاعات مرکزی آمریکا (سیا) در چارچوب برنامه بدامن آماده و در ایران توزیع شده است. این اثر نمونه‌ای از پروپاگاندای سیاه است که با هدف بی‌اعتبار کردن اتحاد جماهیر شوروی در ذهن مخاطب تولید شده است و حاوی توصیفات ساختگی از زندگی لاهوتی در این کشور است. طبق تحقیقات مارک گازیوروفسکی و مصاحبه وی با یک مأمور سیا که در پروژه بدامن دست داشته، این کتاب توسط دونالد ویلبر نوشته شده است اما برخی منابع دیگر مانند عبدالله شهبازی آن را به شاپور ریپورتر نسبت می‌دهند. فرید جواهرکلام نویسنده این کتاب را پدر خود علی جواهرکلام اعلام کرده‌است.
English: This book is a sham autobiography of Iranian poet Abolqasem Lahouti, prepared and distributed by the Central Intelligence Agency through its TPBEDAMN operation. This work is an example of black propaganda and was aimed at discreting the Soviet Union by a fake portrayal of Lahouti's life there (where he had lived since 1922). American author Mark J. Gasiorowski says this book was written by Donald Wilber based on a confidential interview on 3 September 1983 with a retired CIA officer who worked on TPBEDAMN at the time (Source) while others like Abdollah Shahbazi attribute it to Shapoor Reporter (Source) or Ali Javaherkalam (Source).
