Summary[edit]

Description

Ex larva, Halesowen, VC37. I have been meaning to photograph this species for some time and as I happened to walk pass some occupied mines a week or so ago I grabbed a few to rear the moth.

It was first discovered in the UK in 2002 but the population has exploded and it is frequently mentioned in TV reports due to the noticeable damage it does mining the leaves of Horse Chestnut trees.
