Grain can be shipped by conveyor sys-tem to ocean steamers at their regularberths at a rate of 150,000 bushels perhour, equal to 4,500 tons per hour. Itis possible to deliver grain to five steam-ers at the same time at a rate of 30,000 Royal Tunnel, by the managing engineerof the new undertaking, Mr. S. P.Brown, who lectured before them recent-ly.
