KEY WEST, Fla. (Sept. 7, 2017) Capt. Bobby Baker, left, commanding officer of Naval Air Station Key West, listens as staff updates the status of the air station ahead of Hurricane Irma. Non-essential active duty military, Department of Defense civilians and their families have evacuated the base. Hurricane Irma is a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of more than 180 mph and is moving west-northwest at 17 mph. The storm is expected to impact the southeastern United States.
