| Description |
English: Castle Drive after the Gales This corner of Castle Drive, adjacent to the entrance to the Little Roodee car park, is a scene of devastation after the gales of the 18th January. At least four trees came down here closing the road for a while. Because of the gas main work on Grosvenor Bridge this road was being used as an exit route from the city, so its closure caused serious disruption to traffic flow. A corner of the city walls can be seen on the left and then directly across the river, in Handbridge, is Greenway Street, and to the right of that the spire of St Mary's Without the Walls. |
