Alwaysa symmetrical upright grower, well clothed with a darkgreen foliage, and bears every year, without fail, a pro-fusion of large, showy double flowers that closely resem-ble Hollyhocks in shape and colors, but often larger insize. They bloom from midsummer until frost, at a timewhen few other shrubs are in bloom. Fine for cemeteryplanting or for growing unon the lawn. In Europe thisis the most popular of all flowering shrubs.
