The last day of the celebration was given over to water sports and a waterpageant. Thousands of boats of all sizes and descriptions gathered on thewaters at Hudson Park, while upwards of fifteen thousand persons assembledalong the shore to watch the historic events of the landing of the Huguenotsre-enacted. Secretary Daniels of the Navy watched the pageant from theLinited States despatch boat Dolphin, which was escorted by the gunboat Waspand the torpedo boats Paulding and Jat-vis. A replica of the vessel whichbrought the Huguenots from La Rochelle came round the point bearing hercargo of modern Huguenots, dressed in the brilliant costumes of their historicimmigrant ancestors.
