IART OK THE \ AST THRONCl AT ENGLANDS GREATEST CAMP-MEETING AT THE Lake District, in the northwest of Eng-land, bordering on Scotland, is everywhererecognized as a place of surpassing beautyand attractiveness. Fifty-five mountains,eighteen mountain passes, sixteen lakes and tenwaterfalls are among the outstanding physicalfeatures of what is known as Wordsworths coun-try. Much of the imagery of his poetry draws itscoloring from this region, and his grave is at Gras-mere. The names of Ruskin and Southey are alsoassociated here. Nestling right in the heart of these English high-lands lies the quaint, quiet village of Keswick, witha population of about four thousand. This is theplace where the great Keswick conventions havenow been held for thirty-eight years, and a morelovely spot could not anywhere be found. Hither,from all over the world, Gods people assemble yearby year, where the Master bids them come asideand rest awhile. This year the attendance issaid to be larger than ever. Simul
