English: Church of St John the Baptist, Tisbury "The largest church in this part of Wiltshire" (Pevsner, 1963). A drab and gloomy day is perhaps best for a view of the northern side of the church, which has a remarkably long history and probably stands on the site of a Saxon monastery https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1146017 .
