Description

Art Deco relief at the rotunda staircase, in the Burbank City Hall, Southern California.

  • Created by artist Hugo Ballin in 1943, with a locally built Lockheed Hudson aircraft.
  • A combination of Classical and Renaissance with Art Deco styles, and a 20th century subject, the airplane.
