Русский: Герб города помещается на геральдическом щите. В верхней части щита размещается цветное изображение флага Украинской ССР, на фоне красного цвета которого помещено зубчатое колесо — символ промышленности.В нижней части щита, на белом поле -изображение колоса, оплетенного вокруг орбитами атома. Орбиты атома символизируют науку и культуру города, где впервые был расщеплен атом.Колос — символ центра крупной сельскохозяйственной области, символ урожайности и достатка.
