English: Cofeb Ryfel 1914-1918 War Memorial Apart from the vicar's son, Lt Vernon Owen of the Royal Welch Fusiliers, who fell in 1915, all the other ten men listed on the memorial, Milwyr (Soldiers) and Morwyr (Mariners), in equal number, lost their lives in the terrible year of 1917.
