English: Colourful heathland vegetation of The Range with Mynydd Twr in the background The Range was used during the first half of the twentieth century as a rifle and mortar range by the Territorials. Terrier regiments from all parts of Britain used to attend annual camps at Holyhead and would march along Plas Road to The Range often headed by the regimental band. |
