| Description |
English: Compressed air winch Golborne Colliery Could equally have run on steam. The sort of task it would be used on would be for changing the winding ropes on the main winders. There were also other wire ropes around shafts such as balance ropes and guide ropes. This was one of our prime objectives for the day. |
