English: Site of Consall station, Churnet Valley Railway, 1983. View SE, towards Kingsley & Froghall and Uttoxeter: ex-North Staffordshire Railway, partly reopened by the Churnett Valley Railway since 1978. Consall station was closed by BR on 7/1/65 to passengers, to goods 21/9/65. It was reopened by the CVR on 2/3/02, but they ran trains through here from 24/8/96. [The line seems to be in use in 1983, nevertheless]. |
