English: Converted Cowl at Cronks Farm Many disused cowls can be found in gardens around the areas from which oast houses originate, often in the garden of the oast house itself, as this one is.
Much like the oast houses they once adorned, some cowls are converted to living accommodation, in the form of dove cotes. |
