is a 30-room building,having all the laboratories necessary to do good work, recitationrooms, assembly hall, library, blacksmith and carpenter shops,plant house, kitchen, and sewing rooms. It is devoted entirelyto the agricultural school and was erected at a cost of $38,000(PI. Ill, fig. 1). A stable and live-stock judging pavilion is locatednear the main building, and serves as a laboratory for the studyof the various types of farm animals. Its cost was $1,200. Thereare 11 acres of farm land for demonstration work in connection withthe school. One of the projects that is being developed there is thegrowing of shrubbery, which is eventually distributed to the ruralschools of the county. The course of study in the Winnebago School differs from those inthe other schools in that it includes a preparatory year for studentswho are not far enough advanced to enter the regular work of theschool.
