| Description |
English: Cradle Hall Farm from Burnham Road from Docking Once you have climbed up from Burnham Market, or from Brancaster further west, towards Docking, you reach a fairly flat and featureless plateau of arable land all about 60m - 70m above sea level. The farms, like this one, are often tucked in the hollows with some tree cover planted around them. Some of the farms continue large scale arable operations having absorbed the neighbours' land, others have ceased farming and are now just dwellings, sometimes with barns converted around them, a very few struggle on with smaller undercapitalised set ups. |
