| Description |
English: Crannog Centre, Loch Tay There are many ideas about why the Crannog was built out over the water rather than on dry land. I tend to favour the one about taking all people and livestock into the building and somehow cutting the link to land. I suppose you could then defend against wild animals or wild people! |
