| Description |
English: Crown Estate Monument, Sunk Island, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Looking north towards Outstray Farm across agricultural land reclaimed from the marsh. The monument was placed at the Greenwich Meridian on completion of work by the Crown Estate Commissioners in 1983-1985, raising the outer banks of the Humber Estuary to 3.3 metres above mean high water. |
