| Description |
English: Crypt 52 (Petersfriedhof Salzburg): originally used as burial place by the Hagenauer family, now used as burial place for priests from the Archdiocese of Salzburg. Among those interred here are the architects Wolfgang Hagenauer (1726–1801) and Johann Georg Hagenauer (1748–1835) as well as Dr. Franz Wasner (1905–1992) who acted as priest to the Trapp Family ("The Sound of Music") and arranged some 150 of their songs. Crypt 52 must not be confused with Crypts 15 and 16, which were also owned by the Hagenauer family. |
