English: Cures Wish The name given to this section of the current field on the 1839 tithe map. The small hamlet of Ashton Green is beyond the trees behind the electricity pylon. The area between the footpath and Neaves Lane was once a number of smaller fields that has been amalagamated into a single large one. |
