“Troy 9 mo 24th 1824 Rich’d P. Hunt Esteemed Friend Since writing thee last, wheat & flour has advance a little in price, here & in N. York – We conclude that if it has not Risen some with you , it soon will – If thee can buy the first Quality wheat at 6/ bus – all thee can take 20th of next month - don’t [mis?] of a good Crop first Rate wheat – if thee has to allow one or two cents more
In haste thine Respectfully D. Merrit & Son
