Description
English: Mint Cola Bottling Company, Raleigh, NC, c.1910's. William E. Ellington is standing at the left of the photo with his hands on his hips, and Hunter Ellington is seated in the delivery truck with his hand on the horn bulb. Mint Cola Bottling Co. was located in the Prince Hall Masonic Temple building on the northeast corner of South Blount and Cabarrus Streets in downtown Raleigh. Other businesses that occupied portions of this building include the Third Ward Pharmacy - see sign painted in the window at right, which is the front corner of the building. The doors are in the actual corner of the building and face the intersection of South Blount and Cabarrus Streets. Image donated by David Burnette, Newport, NC.
