Español: Este retrato, debido a un papel que lleva en el dorso, fue identificado erróneamente en el pasado como un retrato de la princesa e infanta portuguesa María Manuela de Portugal (1527-1545), que fue hija del rey Juan III de Portugal y de la reina Catalina de Austria y princesa consorte de Asturias por su matrimonio con el prícipe Felipe de Austria, que era hijo del emperador Carlos I y llegaría a reinar en España tras la muerte de María Manuela como Felipe II de España.
English: This portrait was in the past identified erroneously as portrait of Maria Manuela, Princess of Portugal, daughter of John III of Portugal and Catherine of Austria, Queen of Portugal, first wife of Philip II of Spain. |
