Description
The actor Segawa Kikunojō (III) (瀬川菊之丞 (3代目)) (1751-1810) dancing the "shiki sanbasō". On this print his name is wrongly spelled Sengawa or Ōgigawa. Above the actor as well as on his kimono his family mon is shown. Also on his kimono the long and short months of the year 1797 are shown. On his fan is shown the symbol of the Yomogawa and emblem of the Kasumiren. With three poems.
