English: Solar transit of Deimos — the smaller of the two Mars moons — on 20 January 2024, as observed by the Mars rover Perseverance. According to the metadata of the 177 images from the rover's left Mastcam-Z, the transit was on January 20th, starting at 01:32:18 UTC and lasting until 01:34:18 UTC. In local mean solar time on Mars, this corresponds to 08:41:34 to 08:43:31.
